When Zac asked me if I could help pull off a special little proposal for his leading lady, of course I jumped at the chance! He wanted to have pictures of the whole thing, but he also wanted to do a video capture on his phone so that he would always have a video of how she reacted when he popped the question. They had brunch at Tomato Pie that day and then made their way into Lititz Springs Park for a leisurely stroll, where Matt and I were in place and waiting. They walked up to us as we were just hanging out taking pictures of the ducks in the pond. Zac casually walked up to us and asked if we could take a picture of them with his phone. I think Jessie might have had an idea that Zac was preparing to propose that afternoon, but she had no idea that Zac had set it up so that these random people she thought were taking their picture in the park were actually photographers secretly photographing and videoing that moment right after they posed for a picture when Zac dropped down on one knee and popped the big question. It was super cute, and I’m thrilled that we managed to pull off the surprise so well! After taking a moment to just soak in the fact that they’re now ENGAGED, Zac surprised Jessie again as he explained that he hired us to do a little photo session in the park right after the proposal.
We had so much fun getting to know Zac and Jessie during their session and I’m so happy for them as they get ready to embark on a whole new adventure! From when they met freshman year in college and Jessie just thought of Zac as the jerk who stole her chocolate chips to now saying yes to starting the rest of their life together, these two are so cute and fun together and I’m so happy for them!
