Okay, so it's actually only a half birthday, but when you're little, it's okay to celebrate half birthdays too, right? She turned 4 1/2 this week, which I'm still trying to wrap my head around. I won't get all sappy over her half birthday (I do it enough on her real birthday), but needless to say, she's growing up way too fast for my liking. Sometimes I glance over at her and it hits me that she's not a little toddler anymore, she's growing into her own personality and constantly surprising me with how much she grasps and understands. Sure, she still has her moments and we have our battles, but I sure do love this little girl. So anyway, back to her birthday. She really wanted to make cookies for her half birthday, so we did. We don't do a whole lot of baking around our house, so getting to make cookies with mom and dad (well, mostly dad) was a super fun treat for her. I, of course, had to snap some pictures because it was just too cute.
