Jarrod & Hannah // Wedding // The Mill at Manor Falls

I am convinced the answer to most of life’s mysteries are right under our noses, but more often than not, it takes what seems like thousands of miles of travel before we can see it. Sometimes the Lord will let you get to know someone when you cross paths with them at the grocery store, or around your neighborhood, or at a race. Other times, you need to travel to El Salvador as a last minute addition to a missions trip where you can run into someone you’ve lived near your whole life, before you finally realize that you’re perfect for each other. The best thing about the journey before the discovery, is that it helps us appreciate what we have learned, and who we have found.

Jarrod and Hannah traveled a long way to find each other; they love taking hikes together, and having adventures together. I would not be surprised if five years from now I hear that they’ve hiked the Appalachian trail. Of all the adventures that they have been on, or the ones they will be on, there is one adventure that will bring more blessings to them than any other, that will allow them to bless others more than any other, that will try them more than any other, and reward them more than any other. The Bible repeatedly alludes to the Church being Christ’s bride, because the relationship between husband and wife is able to give us even the barest glimpse at how much Christ loves us. As I’m sure you can imagine, loving someone with that much passion is one of the best feelings in the world, being loved the same is like experiencing magic. It doesn’t mean everything will be perfect, or easy. But, it does mean that it is oh, so, worth it!

Jarrod and Hannah, on your ring box you had an etching, “The adventure begins.” You are so right, marriage is a great adventure, and sorry for mixing verses, but I think it is warranted. Matt and I wish you, joy, peace, patience, but above all, love. Thank you for letting us capture the beginning of your great adventure at the beautiful Mill at Manor Falls! Everyone was so chill and easygoing, and we really enjoyed capturing your sweet relaxed wedding day!

Here are just a few of my favorite images from this beautiful wedding day, enjoy!
