Mark and Johnelle’s spring session had been rescheduled due to uncooperative weather more times than I can even recall offhand. But this particular day was looking promising, so we decided to give it a go. And I am so glad we did, because the storms they were calling for held off, and we ended up with the most gorgeous golden hour evening! This family is so full of excitement and energy, there was no shortage of fun images on my camera by the time we were done with our session! I did pictures with this crew last fall, but since then, they’ve added another member to the family, by the name of Dippy Doodle, so they wanted to do another session this spring to include their new fur baby, which was such a fun idea. We wandered along the Warwick to Ephrata Rail Trail for this session and found so many great spots to take advantage of that beautiful golden hour sunlight.
I really could’ve called this session “Chasing Dandelions,” since I’m pretty sure half the pictures involved the kids playing with these fun little flowers. I don’t think we could’ve kept these kids away from the dandelions if we had tried. Of course, I didn’t want to try, because there is something so sweet and magical about the combination of kids and dandelions, and it makes for super cute pictures, as evidenced here. :) Anyway, here are some of my favorites from this beautiful session, enjoy!
